How to get Polymarket and Kalshi whale alerts
Last checked 2026-09-08
Polymarket whale alerts are easy to get because every trade is a public Polygon transaction; four services covered here deliver them free or with a free tier. Kalshi whale alerts are harder, because Kalshi publishes no wallet-level trade record and its leaderboard is opt-in.
Pick by what you want watched. A size threshold catches any large print. A wallet follow catches a specific trader at any size. Only some services do both.
What an alert service watches
Three triggers cover almost every alert product. A size threshold fires when a single trade above a dollar amount hits the book. A wallet follow fires when a named address buys or sells. A market trigger fires on a new market, a price move, a volume spike or a resolution.
The threshold products differ in their default. PolyAlertHub's whale alerts default to $5,000 notional and can be set per rule "from $1k up to seven-figure trades"; its home page feed shows live trades over $10k. The open-source polymarket-whales script reads a MIN_TRADE_SIZE variable in dollars, with $500 as the example. Polymarket Alerts, the mobile app, lets you set whale alerts "above a custom value or specific amount."
- Size threshold: PolyAlertHub, polymarket-whales, Polymarket Alerts.
- Wallet follow: Polylerts (up to 15 wallets), PolyAlertHub trader alerts, Polymarket Alerts user activity notifications.
- Market triggers: PolyAlertHub price, price movement and volume change alerts; Polymarket Alerts price, percentage and resolution alerts.
- Fresh wallet and "smart money" signals: PolyAlertHub, which records every alert it fires, wins and losses alike.
Telegram delivery
Polylerts is a free Telegram bot. Its listing on polymark.et describes tracking up to 15 Polymarket wallets with real-time trade alerts, a minimum size filter, a BUY, SELL or ALL side filter, custom aliases, pause, and a generated performance report per wallet. It is community-run by its creator, @0xRacerAlt.
PolyAlertHub's bot is @PolyAlertHubBot. Setup is "send /start, and link your PolyAlertHub account." Price, whale, insider or fresh wallet, trader activity and resolution alerts can all route to it. Telegram delivery "is available on all paid plans"; free accounts "can preview the bot with a limited number of alerts per day." Its plans page did not render without a browser session, so check prices there.
polymarket-whales is the self-hosted route. It monitors the Polymarket CLOB API, prints threshold trades to the terminal, and pushes to Telegram if you set TELEGRAM_BOT_TOKEN and TELEGRAM_CHAT_ID in a .env file. The README says no config is needed to start, and points to a hosted feed at @polymarketwhales_ai if you would rather not run it. MIT licensed.
Push, email and Discord
Polymarket Alerts is a native app for iPhone and iPad on iOS 18 and up and for Android phones and tablets. It delivers by push notification, needs no account, states that it collects no personal information, and is a free download. Alert types are price and percentage changes, comments and trades by a followed user, whale trades above your amount, insider-pattern wallets, and market resolution or closure.
PolyAlertHub adds email and an in-app feed alongside Telegram, and its API is described as the way to forward alerts to Slack, Discord or internal systems. None of the four services documents a first-party Discord bot, so Discord delivery means either the PolyAlertHub API or a webhook you build from the polymarket-whales script.
Kalshi whale alerts
No service checked here sends threshold-based Kalshi trade alerts the way the Polymarket tools do. The reason is structural: Kalshi's help center says accounts are opted out of the leaderboard by default, and Kalshi publishes no per-account public trade feed, so there is no address to follow.
KalshiSpy is the closest thing. It scores what it describes as ID-verified accounts by realized P&L, win rate and volume, keeps the top 1,247 as a whale list, and shows their active positions plus a per-market YES or NO verdict with the share of whales agreeing. It costs $61 per month, or $435 lifetime, and is a screen you check rather than a push alert.
Kalshi Pro, Kalshi's own interface, shows a live trade-by-trade view, which is the raw material for a size filter if you watch it yourself.
Free versus paid
Free and complete: Polylerts, polymarket-whales, Polymarket Alerts. Free tier with a paid ceiling: PolyAlertHub, where the Telegram channel is the paid feature. Paid only: KalshiSpy.
Self-hosting polymarket-whales costs nothing but a machine that stays on and a Telegram bot token. The trade-off is maintenance: when Polymarket changes its CLOB API, the script needs a pull request before the alerts resume.
FAQ
Is there a free Polymarket whale alert bot on Telegram?
Yes. Polylerts is a free community bot that follows up to 15 wallets with a minimum size filter, and the open-source polymarket-whales script pushes threshold trades to your own Telegram chat or a hosted feed at @polymarketwhales_ai. PolyAlertHub's bot is free only as a limited daily preview.
What trade size counts as a whale on Polymarket?
Each tool sets its own line. PolyAlertHub defaults to $5,000 notional and its live feed shows trades over $10k; polymarket-whales uses $500 as its example threshold; Polymarket Alerts lets you type any amount.
Can I get Kalshi whale alerts?
Not as a push alert from the services checked here. Kalshi's leaderboard is opt-in and there is no public wallet feed. KalshiSpy shows the open positions of its scored whale list for $61 per month, and Kalshi Pro shows a live trade tape you can watch yourself.
Trackers find the edge. Calculators size it. Alerts time it.
